Carl Moyer came from humble beginnings on the East side of Des Moines. It was there that he realized his deep-rooted love for cars. With a strong work ethic and nothing more than a vision, Carl founded Karl Chevrolet in 1978 and laid a set of ground rules that the Karl Auto Group still adheres to today. It was simple, put the customer first. With that simple statement and a passion for giving back, Carl was able to cultivate what is now recognized as an elite brand in the automotive business.
